Every so often, due to the seasonal variability of produce, we get a batch of juice that doesn't quite meet our standards.
These juices are packed with the same dense nutrition of our regular Citrus Carrot. And while they still taste very good, the flavor is just a little less than our best. We gave this batch of Citrus Carrot juice a rating of 7 out of 10 for flavor, because although it is still sweet, it has a slightly bitter aftertaste.
Due to a less-than-ideal growing season, many juicing oranges have a thicker peel and pith than usual. The pith is where a ton of vitamins and minerals are housed, so this juice is even more nutrient-dense than usual - but it is also slightly more bitter in aftertaste.
