Sugar in Juice: How Much is Too Much?
One of the most common questions we get about our juices is, “Why is the sugar content so high?” With all the concerns around excess sugar in our diets being brought to light, this is a valid concern surrounding cold-pressed juices. It’s very important to make the distinction between added/refined sugars and sugars that are naturally occurring in fruit and vegetables.
Refined Sugar vs. Natural Sugar
It's a common misunderstanding that because refined sugars are unhealthy, the same must apply to the naturally occurring sugar (fructose) found in fruits and vegetables. This is untrue!
