Here at Raw Generation, we believe wellness is not a season or a destination but a journey! That being said, we also believe that all too many of us are approaching the benefits of juicing all wrong – taking an all-or-nothing approach, swinging from one diet extreme to another.
How to get nowhere fast:
We set lofty goals and resolutions for ourselves, convincing ourselves that we have to change it all at once. Then when we fall a little off track, we beat ourselves up, we give up, and we go right back to square-one. We let holidays, special occasions, life events, stress, etc., completely derail our healthy plans.
We give into a little bit of temptation and overly punish ourselves with thoughts like, “Well, I already ruined my diet with this cookie, I might as well finish off the box.” We make one or two not-so-perfect choices, then chastise ourselves “There goes my diet for the day!”
Sound familiar?
This attitude is a surefire way to get nowhere fast!
Life happens… don’t wait until you’ve ”screwed up” to course-correct! Instead, take small steps every day that will bring you closer to your goals!

How to avoid extremes:
Difficulty losing weight, low energy, brain fog, and ongoing digestive issues have less to do with the calories you’re consuming and more to do with the quality of calories you're consuming. A lack of nutrition from plant-based foods can cause your body to believe it is malnourished, making it cling to fat as a result. The more raw nutrition you feed your body, the better you will look and feel and the healthier you will be!
If you are more consistent with incorporating raw juice into your regular routine, you won't be falling so far off track if you stumble. A bottle of cold-pressed juice a day keeps the weight away!
You don't have to be perfect or extreme to make progress on your healthy goals. Just be more consistent. Daily small steps lead to lasting change.
