When should I drink my deep detox elixir?

You can drink your Deep Detox Elixir any time of the day or night to improve your overall health, however our nutritionist recommends making it a part of your morning routine. The chlorophyll in these detox drinks helps to eliminate unhealthy cravings and sets your day up for success.

How many bottles can I drink in a day?

To experience the most real health benefits associated with daily detoxification, drink a minimum of 2 per day. In addition to these 2 bottles per day, make sure you are drinking plenty of water and/or coconut water throughout the rest of the day, as proper hydration helps flush out toxins. 

Are these meant to be a meal replacement?

12 oz. of juice is not substantial enough to be a full meal replacement on its own. You can, however, have 2 bottles at one time to make a light and easy meal. Just make sure you are conscious to get adequate calories throughout the rest of your day. 

What else can I do to support daily detoxification?

While this is the best detox drink recipe as far as taste and results, there are other things you can do to support your body in the detoxification process.

1. Create your own detox water by adding a little fresh lemon juice to some of your cups of water each day. A glass of water by itself is beneficial, but lemon water has long been proven to be a fantastic detoxifier. Many people also enjoy adding fresh lemon juice (and sometimes a dash of cayenne pepper or apple cider vinegar) to a cup of warm water or hot water first thing in the morning to gently awaken the digestive system and get the body’s natural detoxification process moving.
2. Eat plenty of hydrating fresh fruits during the day. The fiber and natural water content of fresh fruits helps to eliminate bloating by making bowel movements easier and more regular. Fresh fruit smoothies will also work in the same way. The antioxidant and  anti-inflammatory properties of fresh fruits like blueberries and red grapes also help to combat many health problems like blood sugar imbalances, elevated cholesterol and blood pressure levels, and free radical damage caused by stress and environmental toxins.
3. Make light exercise a part of your daily wellness routine whenever possible. Exercise helps support the lymphatic system, improves kidney and liver function, and of course, helps with fat burning. 

Do I have to worry about detox side effects?

In this case, side effects are unlikely, mainly because you will be incorporating the Deep Detox Elixir into your regular diet and lifestyle, as opposed to cleansing when you cut out nearly all of what you’ve been typically eating and drinking.  We consider this the best detox drink because it is made with all-natural ingredients that are super effective but in no way overly harsh or detrimental to you.

Will I need to be close to a restroom?

As opposed to detox supplements and diuretics on the market, the Deep Detox Elixir will not typically cause any unnatural urgency when it comes to using the bathroom.  Nutritionist Tip: If you do notice any “adjustment time” needed for your stomach, simply have a cup of caffeine-free peppermint or chamomile tea. It works wonders to quickly calm the digestive system.
