We have a Quality Assurance team with extremely high standards for juices and smoothies. Every so often, due to the seasonal variability of produce, we get a batch of juice that doesn't quite meet our standards. These juices are packed with the same dense nutrition of our regular Mellow Melon. And while they still taste good, the flavor is just a little less than our best.
We gave this batch of Mellow Melon juice a rating of 6.5 out of 10 for flavor, because although it is still sweet, it is a little watery with a mildly bitter aftertaste. Due to a less-than-ideal growing season, cucumbers and spinach are having much less flavor recently, making them taste "watery". Citrus potency has also been problematic, so this juice could've used a little more lemon or lime to counteract the slight bitterness.
