What could you do if only...?

A couple of days ago I was talking with a few friends about what I get out of drinking green juice every day. What I realized as I was talking was that I was actually losing 24 days a year to my period symptoms. I would literally be in bed for 2 days with crippling cramps, awful moods, and absolutely no energy.

That's an entire working month a year, or one weekend every month that I am out of commission!

When I put it that way, my period was taking a lot of time from me. I am a stickler for being productive and that really made me mad. Like, 'I could've gotten so much more done if I wasn't laid up in bed one month out of every year for the past almost 17 years'. That is almost a year and a half of my life spent in bed dealing with PMS!

I am so glad that I figured out what my body needs to be able to get rid of debilitating PMS. As much as I would like to dwell on the past and think of all of the time that was wasted, I am that much more thankful that going forward I won't be suffering for 2 days every single month. I actually don't dread my period anymore. It's just a regular day now.

Here are a few questions you can ask yourself:

  • What have you been suffering with?
  • Have you figured out how much time you are losing because of it?
  • What could you get done if you weren't dealing with your "issues"?
  • How would the ENERGY gained from having more greens in your diet impact your life?

If you are anything like me, you were shocked at how much you are/were putting up with. Now that you know, what are you going to do about it?
