RECIPE: Quick Berry Smoothie

So I started last week out with a juice cleanse and ended with a raw food cleanse (with an emphasis on juice). I found it much more pleasurable to also have the raw foods to supplement my 6 daily juices. Overall, I would say it was a success. I shrunk a little, feel pretty good, and my skin cleared up. I also decided that I am going to stay away from gluten and dairy.... 90% of the time.

I also wanted to share with you a simple and super healthy berry smoothie that anyone can add to a juice cleanse. These are perfect in the morning because it is fast and it will fill you up for a while. 

Berry Smoothie

  • 1 small ripe banana (must have brown spots) *can be frozen
  • blueberries
  • raspberries
  • blackberries
  • strawberries
  • handful of your favorite greens

Super yum! And you are adding to the variety of fruits you are eating each day. Our juice cleanse is great because you are getting a variety, but there are certain things like berries that are just not conducive to juicing. This is a great way to easily add variety to your juice cleanse!
